Authentic 1940’s handmade dress 🍋 yellow and grey

Purchased from an antique store. This is a gorgeous handmade 1940’s dress. Very bright lemon yellow plaid with grey. I have worn it less than a handful times mainly to a dinner party and pinup gatherings. I have included details of a fix that was done under the armpit at some point throughout the decades. There’s a subtle cross hatch pattern on the grey skirt but it has faded quite a lot through the years. Original handmade belt. For reference - hits shin length on 5’5 person.
