It comes with a soft fawn colored leather lining with the original hand mirror, golden cord attached coin purse, and stamped Bass insignia. Beautiful brass snap enclosure balls and trim. The woman who owned it was a Bass employee in Virginia in the 1950s. This elegant leather specialty company was the famous inventor of the Penny Loafer and Weejuns. This is a remarkable find for the authentic mid century couture collector. Bass is the great All American success story. George Henry Bass undertook his legacy in 1867 when he bought out the shoe company he worked for in Maine.
