Retail price is $1070. The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability. The exterior coated canvas is clean. The leather base and handles have darkened and developed a deep patina. The base has visible soiling and the handles have softened from use over time. The hardware is bright and shiny with surface scratches. The interior is clean and remains in good condition. Recently purchased from Yoogi’s and still have the authenticity tags attached. Beautiful tote, but realized it’s not really my style and missed the return window.
