Authentic Bakelite Earrings 1940’s

These earrings are a rich caramel and red marble hoop clip on . How do I know they are authentic 1940’s Bakelite ? Well…because they were my great aunt Leona’s Aunt Leona was an engineer when it was a man’s world she never married or had children (I take after her) she wasn’t attractive not even handsome for a woman But she had an eye for beautiful jewelry , she passed away from lung cancer when I was in junior high school That would have been around 1973-74ish. She was an incredible person and now that I’m older and have no family to leave these too I want others to enjoy them. Wow , a bit of a depressing story but not really
