@thaliahappyone does wallet smell like synthetic odor ? A real leather Louis Vuitton will contain your scent - for example my perfume got trapped on leather - leather smells like real one . Synthetic smells like plastic . If u got monogram letters should be a dark golden color . Fake ones look like green

U know u have 3 days to contact mer-car for a refund when something isn't as described , fake or damaged .. I bought a pochette with Cherrys on for my daughter and seller had in her listing she would ship within 2-3 days and on the 3rd day I contacted them to cancel order and they didn't get back to me in time and she sent it on the 4th so I still wrote them

And said its not fair she shouldn't have been able to ship it because I contact U to cancel and because they didn't contCt me back fast enough she ended up shipping before they got back to me so now when I get it . I will have to try to contact them as soon as receive it to get a refund

It is a legit authentic code. However the codes Lv uses also need to be in the correct design, current "made in ------ (Spain , usa France ect) in your case it should be made in Spain however there are a few different designs it can be, most common is monogram but of U could tag me in the listing I could tell u 100%. Sometimes fakes have a real code however it's not in the correct country or the correct design

As for the numbers and how to read them - from the 90s-2006 U take the first and 3rd number and that is the month ( so if the bag is made inbetween that time period above then the first # shouldn't be higher then a 0 or 1 because we only have 01(jan) 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12. Then the 3rd number (2nd number of month) should be # 1-9 or 0 1 &2)

This is still bags made from 90-2006 the 2nd Nd 4th number is year so when figuring that out the 2 numbers for the year should go between the 1990-2006 then starting 2007 to current the 1&3 number is the week so shouldn't pass 52 we only have 52 weeks Ina year and the 2 &4 # combined should be between 2007 and 2015 - next year we will 2016 to add . @parisplease SD refers to the country usa OR france and then the 1st and the 3rd letters reference the month it was made so 01 means january ( thats only from 1997-2006) and then if the year is 2007- current the 1st and 3rd letters mean the week of the year it was made- the 04 means the year

@parisplease this is not the most recent date code list- and even if it was the most recent, it doesnt hAve every single 2 letter combo ever either.. Theres another list in my closet ill tag u in.. Theres also a website with an lv letter code generator where u put in the 2 letters and hot enter and if tells u if Its a legit lv code by saying basically "yes it is an authentic code" or "no lv never used this combo" ill find it give me a few. Im sorry but all authentic lv pieces dating from 1999- current year all have date codes with 2 specific letters and 4 specific numbers inside the item. The code in your wallet only has 1 letter & 5 numbers ... Please dont take this the wrong way as i am not being rude ect. Just trying to nicely educate you

Have you heard anything about LV not doing date codes anymore on new bags? I've been authenticating for almost 8 years now and keep update on everything..but I asked for a date code on an item on here and was told they don't do them anymore and this bag wasn't even available in the US yet..personally doesn't sound right and came across the PM list as replica. So I started doing more Google searching and came across this post.

@mabr5299 Louis Vuitton stores will not authenticate. employees are not trained to authenticate. a sales person doesnt mean they r knowledgeable certified or can you tell the difference between real vs fake. Sales & authenticating are 2 different things. it's harder to differentiate them & LV doesn't wanna be responsible if an employee makes an error.

You. However when buying a pre owned LV, the date code should never be the only thing a buyer should look at to determine an authentic bag. There is a a few "things" to look at and every single one has to check out. Like a check list. If one thing is off- it's a done deal.

Looks like it starts with a DO or a DC which I do not see on the list... the pattern and buckle shape seem to be on point though! Thoughts ?
