Authentic Louis Vuitton Compiegne 28 bag. Overall excellent vintage condition; this is a clutch converted into a crossbody bag. Purse has been restored in vachetta color and sealed to prevent chipping and scratching. Can be worn as crossbody or clutch. Fits all of the essentials and more (can easily fit a bottle of water inside). Purse has a front slip pocket that can easily fit a cell phone and also has two pockets in the interior of the bag where it zips.

Condition:

@angelabthomas Hi. I do not; this bag originally comes as a clutch. I had it customized for use as a crossbody bag. If you really wanted a leather strap replacement, Amazon sells good quality vachetta leather straps that match the color leather of the bag. Thank you for inquiring! 😊

@angelabthomas yes! It's pretty spacious too. The front pocket is same length as the purse (11 inches), so it fits a few items.

Hi. I am curious about the dying/coloring and sealing of the vachetta leather. Was it done by Louis Vuitton? Is it a dye or more like a paint? Does the bag have any offensive odors such as storage, smoke or perfume?

@mjkill Hi there! The bag was not restored by LV;
I had it restored by a known bag restoration shop. The bag was painted with vachetta paint and sealed to prevent chipping and scratching.

@mjkill my apologies, I didn't get a chance to address your question about odors-- No odors and from a smoke-free home. It has a long interior pocket that is divided into two and is the length of the bag (11 inches). The zipper is also fully functional.
