Calling all Scott's! Purchased this 100% wool (aka dry clean only) Scottish kilt in Edinburgh Scotland. Has leather adjustable straps on the side at the waist, pleats in the back and measures approximately 26.5" in length from the top of the waistband to the hem. There is a small hole on the back in one of the seams of the pleats, as depicted in the 4th photo. Has the original kilt pin in front. Opened the skirt and measured from end to end it's 44 inches.

eanaples @iiinkspot itwould fit a size 8 it is a 12 but it's a European 12 so they run a little smaller than for us American size 12's. I did open the skirt and measured it from the last hole on the leather strap on each end and it's 44 inches. so wrap that around yourself and see how it would fit. it should overlap in the front so that each strap is either at your hips or more towards the middle. Hope that helps!

eanaples @lionessroar sorry sweetie I really don't think so because it's a size 12 and it's a European 12 which i think are a little smaller than our 12. Look at the last photo, i measured the front and I put it on the last hole from side to side and it measures 13 inches. I suggest you take one of your skirts that fits and measure it across to see if it's close to the same size as this one.
