Authentic Vintage 1950's Layered Embroidered Black Taffeta Party Dress AMAZING!

Where to begin with this outstanding, mid century party dress... I guess I'll start with the striking structure of this Little Black Dress; The front and back of the bodice features painstakingly applied Black embroidery with a waffle like pattern atop. The back of the bodice is lower on the back (you won't get too hot on the dance floor!). It has secure structure that stays in place with thick enough straps to wear a low back bra. The skirt has its own beautiful flare too with three different layers of Taffeta, each placed perfectly on point. The dress is from an estate sale. It zips down the back so it's easy to get off and on. The model is a size 2 and it cut her comfortably. Many LBDs can be plain but this one stands out. I notice one area where the waffle like layer needs to be re-tacked into place. There are NO stains, rips or tears. It is certainly in amazing vintage condition, especially when you consider it's age. This piece may be a bit pricey but you will not regret adding this versatile gem to your wardrobe- it is beyond worth it 8n both design, material and its place in fashion history!
