aminolroaya @meehling1-it's 12 3/4 inches wide x 7 1/2 inches. There are no identifying numbers on LV bags manufactured in the 1980s (you can google this and/or check ebay for confirmation of this). However, I purchased the bag from a well respected consignment store in Massachussets, which guaranteed the bag's authenticity & can provide a copy of the receipt.

aminolroaya @meehling1-no, there are no identifying numbers on the bag. Just the Louis Vuitton Paris made in france stamp on the strap & on the interior of the bag.
