Authentic vintage Yves Saint Laurent pocketbook, early 1970’s

Authentic vintage Yves Saint Laurent pocketbook, early 1970’s -please note- the early editions of YSL bags in the 60’s and 70’s were made without serial numbers. In the 80’s, the brand (and other major fashion labels) began incorporating serial numbers to help identify styles, price increases, material, and sales history. Due to this being before that time, it does not have a serial number and cannot technically be “authenticated” This is real leather, the interior is the traditional thin lined mesh as seen on other authentic early YSL bags and the hardware is in great condition. Also, it is stamped on the interior leather with the early “Yves Saint Laurent PARIS” which will not be found in todays bags as the modern brand is known as Saint Laurent. I believe this is the original silo for the now famous “Kate” bag. Very cool piece of history!
