Beautiful greenish blue vintage (early 80s) Chanel suit - authenticated by a respected Chanel authenticator (see the report in pictures). Feels like 100% wool. Original buttons. Suit was altered to fit US 6-8. Condition is pretty good for vintage but some discoloration on the skirt and the lining of the skirt is not attached all the way (please refer to pictures).

minsalo @chevive0713 according to the Authenticator, the size was changed so I am assuming the panels of the jacket got rearranged (you can see different stitching there) and the waist of the skirt also was altered to be bigger :) you cannot really see these changes from the outside.

chevive0713 @minsalo is the lining the same as original - branded Chanel silk? I cannot tell from the pic. Can you send measurements for bust waist and hips please?

minsalo @chevive0713 it’s not branded because I think they were not doing that in the 80s yet :) there are also no fabric tags because they used to put them on the top together with Chanel logo so I think it was cut off for convenience. The material outside feels like 100% wool and the lining feels like silk. The lining also matches the color of the suit perfectly so I assume it’s original Chanel lining.
