Ceramarte for Avon 1979 Car Enthusiasts Fine Pewter Lidded Beer Stein. Handcrafted in Brazil exclusively for Avon products. Collectable Gift #513941. Embossed on and around the bottom of the stein are the 4 featured vehicle's: The Classic 1911 Ford model T, 1910 Stanley Steamer steam driven engine, the 1936 MG by English car company "Morris Garage", & lastly, The 1927 Bugatti Type 35B! The final version of the Type 35 series & the most powerful, with a top speed of 125 mph, the ability to go from 0 to 60 mph in 6 seconds, it's distinctive features include the first car to use cast alloy wheels, its arch/egg-shaped radiator & tapered stern, known as a "Bordino tail", & a large supercharger that increased its power output & performance, forever cementing it as one of the best cars in the racing community. Only 37 Type 35Bs were ever produced.
