Avon Jadeite Green Swirl Milk Glass Pitcher

The item is an Avon Jadeite Green Swirl Milk Glass Rose Pitcher. It features a light green opaque glass with a swirl design at the top and a handle shaped like a stylized branch. The body of the pitcher is adorned with raised relief roses and leaves. Jadeite glass, like this pitcher, was popular in the early to mid-20th century. It sometimes contains uranium, causing it to glow under UV light. Milk glass, in general, has been produced for many decades, with notable periods of popularity during the Victorian era and the 1950s.  Made by avon Age 1970's Size  4 1/2" x  4" Weight 1 pound I'm just getting started with putting stuff up, so check out my other listings to save on shipping cost.
