Awesome piece of brass art

This is such a unique and awesome piece! I've never seen anything like this is my life! It's an amazing part of art that I wish I could say was mine but it's not. It looks like it was made from a copper candlestick from India and then welded and glued together before being finished with paint. The paint is chipped lightly on the back of the wings but it's in otherwise perfect condition. The shoes are rubber or plastic btw. I almost dont want to part with this because it may be a collectors piece
