This beautiful vintage BAKELITE dragon/sea monster 🐉 is a wonderful find! Since BAKELITE jewelry hasn’t been made in decades, finding any piece is always a small miracle; finding a dragon is like treasure! Ironically, in my experience, a carved BAKELITE dragon is the REAL unicorn! To give you an idea, I’ve got a collection over over 250+ BAKELITE pieces, and of them, only three dragon pieces — two carved dragon brooches and a pair of carved dragon earrings. They’re beyond rare and HTF! This one measures approximately 2 3/8” long, and features heavily carved bright green, very slightly marbled avocado BAKELITE.
