BASE Caribbean Batik Silk Sundress

BASE is in the Wynwood Design District in Miami and is now an exclusive men's boutique. In the 1990s it was an outpost on Lincoln Road in South Beach's heyday featuring simple clothes in edgy pure and Lux fabrics mostly on the tropical side. The original designer was based out of the Caribbean and made the designs, now the store is more of a collective. This is a very pretty, petite sundress that is an elegant easy beach cover up. 100% silk, wash by hand. This stood the test of time, only flaws are tiny brown spots on lower back, not sure if they were there since the start or what they are but only noticed when listing it. 16" ptp and 29" long.
