B. Altman 60s/70s Burgundy Hostess Maxi Dress This wonderful 70s hostess dress, was designed by Dan Leslie for the major fashion department store of the time, B. Altman Co. which had it’s flagship store at 5th Avenue in New York. B. Altman’s was famously a feature/ mentioned frequently in the TV series, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The dress itself is flawless, in mint vintage condition, there's one minor thing in the back that can be seen in the photos. The dress features soft ruffles accenting the neckline and beautiful sheer sleeves. It has a tie at the waist that can create a cute bow in the front or back but could also easily be removed entirely if that's what you’re going for. It’s a maxi length.
