Hi. What happened to the toes of these boots? Are they supposed to be "distressed" or are those stains?

@annemanning34 That is the distressed color of them not stains. They are almost a dark ombré of the leather just near the toe probably to keep them from looking stained near the part of the foot that would most likely get stained or scuffed.
