BDG nieman Marcus vintage leather boots 8.5 zipper back

I purchased these at Nieman Marcus in Palo Alto California. Many years ago. These are size 8 1/2 I wear a 9 1/2 I can wear them with very sheer stockings but they need to be worn with very thick stockings because of the heavy duty zipper that goes up the back. my daughter wore them a few times and she’s a 7 1/2 when I tried to wear them the zipper poked in words as you can see by the photo however my daughter said she didn’t have any problems so I’m not sure if it’s because of the size or the socks so you have to take that into consideration. The zipper is very heavy duty and for me to pull the zipper up I have to use a tool. These have been in storage so the zipper has not been used and I put a little WD-40 on the zipper because it was very stiff and it was easier to use after that. I love these because of its very good quality. it’s not real soft but it’s not real stiff either. I was attracted to these boots because of the low heel I don’t like high heels. (Scared I’ll fall) Even though these are a size too small I found them rather comfortable, with an exception to the zipper. (In the video I don’t zip them all the way up, because I didn’t want to pinch my skin. my other hand was holding the camera.)
