BEAUTIFUL MERINO WOOL Chunky Knit Throw Blanket — handmade in Turkey

I bought this on etsy back in 2017 when the chunky knit blankets were just starting to become popular! I bought one not realizing the maintenance and unpracticality of owning one 🙈 When i first got it i realized this was not at all a cuddle blanket— the knit has some weight to it and the knit stretches a bit so this item is essentially unused in that regard. But i am an interior designer so i made it a decor piece by putting it in this woven basket as you see here and styling it. Now after 7 years, its time for a change in this space. Item is basically new, but please please please understand that real merino wool sheds and sort of pills. Even if you dont wear it or touch it. Over time it just gets like that (also didnt know when buying). Here are care instructions from Hope Macaulay who uses Merino wool for all of her products.
