pdxsmaven OK I'll post them in a minute. It is hard to get good pictures for you. I will say it is a true black, even if that is not clear in pics. There are two layers on the bodice and skirt, an underlayer and then the gauze with rose embroidery is on top of it on the bodice and a panel down the front. The sleeves and the upper back are the gauze-y layer only. Hope this description and the pics help

pdxsmaven the black is like the blackest black in some of the pictures. It is blacker than the more faded looking black in some of the other pictures

pdxsmaven Last 5 pictures are ones I just took. They are in front of a window, so all natural light. Apologies - it would be better if I had a better set up, like a mannequin. IMHO, it is really lovely and I think you would be really happy with it -- only selling because I just don't wear dresses any more
