(See measurements) stunning deadstock Bill Blass couture maxi dress circa 1973-77. This paisley dress is made of taupe, brown, and gold lurex knit fabric. Long and lean through the body with an a-line cut. long bell sleeve, wide sash to style around the waist. Two types of feathers are mixed with gold tinsel strands that all woven together and hand dyed to pick up the colors of the fabric. Really an outstanding piece and beautifully constructed. A version of this dress was kept at: 1973-1977 Bill Blass Ensemble from Kent State University Museum.
