@sunnydaze305 Yes, some amberina glass can be made without a pontil mark, which is a rough blob of glass left on the bottom of a piece of glass that was blown or pressed into a mold. Pontil marks were left on glass until 1848, when they were usually ground off. However, some reproduction glass from this period may still have a pontil mark, while antique pieces will have a ground pontil mark

@sunnydaze305 from what I found online you need to educate yourself because it clearly said that there are pieces made where it was rubbed smooth but I'm not here to argue if you don't want it don't buy it thank you

@seabreeze641 not arguing, go to Blenko.com to the Learn dropdown and you'll see all the catalogs. Blenko has pontils, only a tiny amount, like the water bottles have none cause they are mold blown...have a good one.
