This is one of the Bloch brand’s best sellers and most popular introductory ballet slipper! Crafted from Bloch’s high-performance leather, it offers a full sole with a traditional tapered toe and is ideal for the student. Elastic is already attached for immediate wear. Professional dance shoe fitting advised for dancers, but generally, the Dansoft shoe fits roughly 2.5 sizes down from normal US Street shoe size. Example, I wear a 9 US and a 6 or 6.5 in all Bloch ballet. Chart advisement only. Please note - As I offer a generous discount when my items are bundled, I will generally not accept offers. But feel free to make a reasonable and fair offer on the individual item. As we are downsizing and preparing for a move, I have set aside of a room full of things to list in the next month or two. lisalhw @mayralrmoraes Thank you. Bloch’s ballet shoes normally size 2 down from street size, depending on how you like your shoe fit to feel. I like mine formed to the foot and to ‘stretch’ into them, so I normally go 2.5 sizes down.

lisalhw But, Bloch’s chart suggests a size 7 street would take a size 5. I would stick with that for a mail order item. Yes, these are the full leather shoe, but I do have the Dansoft II ( the hybrid shoe) in a few sizes... in fact, I haven’t even listed on Poshmark more than 90% of the shoes I was given. I guess I better get on that! Thanks for your question. :)

lisalhw @mayralrmoraes I have both the elasto-split (with just the toe and heel coverings and an X of elastic) and Prolite (and a few other split sole styles with either elastic fabric or leather and a two pad sole) in limited sizing. They are stored in my other house, I will need to check sizing. Let me know which one and I’ll have a look.

mayralrmoraes @lisalhw thank you for your answer Lisa. As I said I am 7 so maybe 5 will be fine 5C. Do you wave any model in 5c? Or 5.5 c? But I just don’t want the full sole. I would rather have the one that de soles in on front and back

lisalhw @mayralrmoraes I’ll check on the Prolite leather and Dansoft 2. Both are split sole, but do have the fabric connecting the front and back. It will be at least tomorrow evening before I can get over to check that stock. If I have it, I will need to list on Poshmark to be able to sell it. I’ll get back with you as soon as I can.

lisalhw @mayralrmoraes I do have 2 pair of 5.5C in the Bloch Prolite II. This is the hybrid (leather on the front and back and stretch fabric at the arch). I will be listing the Prolite later this evening. If you are interested, you may want to be on the look out for them.

lisalhw @hovercash Are you talking about the dansoft II- a split sole? I do not have that in a 5. I do have the Bloch Prolite (hybrid leather), which is listed and the Full leather Prolite (not listed) in a 5. You can check the listing from my closet for the hyb Prolite. Wo t be listing the Other yet.

lisalhw @tashafly6 That’s probably about right for a starting point. Honestly, I’d say a 6 unless you like a very tight fit. If your foot is wider than a medium width, def go up in size. If you are new to ballet shoes, then up is better. Experienced dancers generally like a very tight, formed to the foot fit.

bohemienne_chic Do you have any Bloch shoes in size 7D? I wear a street shoe size of 9 (occasionally 9.5) and I have a wide foot. 7.5C in this model is too big for me, but sometimes I feel like I could use a little more width with the 7C. Do you know if the leather stretches much width-wise with these shoes? Also, do you have more than one pair of size 7C? Thanks!

lisalhw @bohemienne_chic Right now, everything in Bloch ballet that I have is listed. I do have quite a few Capezio ballet shoes I’ll be listing in the next month, or so. I’ll also be listing several hundred pairs of Bloch jazz shoes soon and I know there are a few ballet in those boxes. Once I am able to find time to get the jazz listed, I’ll update the ballet. headhuntervic Hi Lisa, I am taking beginning classes and need a pair of pink leather ballet shoes. I wear a street shoe size 8.5M. I also need pink ballet tights and a black leotard (prefer long sleeves). I wear women’s size 16. Can you help? Thanks!!

lisalhw @headhuntervic I can definitely help with the leather ballet shoes. An 8.5 generally fits a 6.5 or 7 in Bloch, depending on width. I have some other Bloch styles up on Posh, that may have sizing. If not, I have a large run of Capezio leather ballet styles that I haven’t listed that may work. They fit a little differently. Unfortunately, there are no leotards left and tights are pretty sparse in adult sizing.
