For the stockings, I’m guessing the L is more about leg length than weight?

@haileysanura yes. L is for 5’7”-5’10” my friend is 6’1” and 180 and she ripped a large them pulling them over her thighs. But I have another friend who is 5’1” and 150 lbs wears a small and they ripped on her because her thighs are too thick. Im 5’9” and 140lbs. It’s more about length but they’re not thick thigh friendly and HB stocking are very delicate.
