Convertible pendant-brooch designed by Andre Vassort for Boucheron.
This magnificent piece, was created in Paris France by the house of Boucheron, back in the 1960's. The incredible convertible pendant-brooch was crafted at the jewelry atelier of Andre Vassort in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with polished finish. The brooch in embellished with a fabulous French pave setting, composed by two-hundred-fifty white colorless diamonds. The jewelry piece is very versatile and can be wear as a pendant or a brooch, since is fitted with a movable ring bale on top and hinged pins bars at the reverse with a safety trombone lock. (removable).
Diamonds: The entire surface is embellished, with an exquisite graduated French pave setting composed by 250 round brilliant cut diamonds, with a combined weight of about 21.96 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS-1 Clarity.
Weight: 41.3 Grams, (26.48 Dwt).
Measurements: 42 mm by 55 mm (1.65 x 2.16 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 karats gold, the maker's maitre cartouche AJV and signed as follow, "BOUCHERON OR .750 AJV".
