BUG trap ~ vintage technique

Old time bug trap: fill the rim with cider vinegar and hang near your picnic food / cook out /bar-b-que/ barBQ burgers, steaks, brisket... pesky bugs will find their way in, but won't be able to find their way out! Hang wire, corked top, opening in the center bottom: The glass is raised with images of: wasps, bees, hornets, flies, mosquitoes gnats, honeybee, yellow jacket, fruit flies...??!?!?
