deitramichelle Yes I can use some help. My biggest concern is what to price things for. Especially my costume jewelry. Is there a site that helps with this? Also when I see a price crossed through was that the original price of that person selling it? Some prices are much higher than the selling now prices. Some show nothing in that place??

lynste70 @deitramichelle The crossed out price is supposed to be the original retail price...Picking a price to sell your items is up to you... price your items depending on how much they were used. What ever you do don't price your items too low at the beginning! You can always lower your prices. There is also the "offer" button buyers can use to make an offer to you... you can either accept the offer or counter with a different price.

lynste70 @deitramichelle Also what I will do sometimes is do a search on here for the item closest to what you are selling and you can see what other Poshers are selling their items for!

lynste70 @deitramichelle Did that help at all? If I don't remember what I paid for something I want to list...you can pretty much find anything on line by brand or where you bought it.

deitramichelle Yes all info right now is helpful. So if I see 555 crossed through and the asking price is 35$ the seller is selling it at that big of difference?
Oct 28Reply
lynste70
lynste70 @deitramichelle Yes but not everyone puts the original price there! If it's that big of a discount they may have embellished to make it look like a bigger percent off.

deitramichelle Hi. I came back to you because you were the first to offer me grip. I've just been looking at other "closets" and trying to see where my things might fit in. It seems you have to make things down pretty low to sell them. I'm thinking it might be better to sell things that cost less for good prices. I'm going to have to use more than one post to send this.

deitramichelle It seems there is a market that shops here for things that are priced google but things they might not see in a store?? The whole retail price thing is still confusing. Can you trust it at all? There are so many saying they paid hundreds of dollars but are selling it for much less. This would be confusing to me if I wanted to buy something.

lynste70 @deitramichelle I think it depends on how new your items are. If they are well loved you will have to price a little lower. If something hasn't been worn much you can price it higher. Like I said before though...don't price your item too low as you can always lower the prices later.

deitramichelle I haven't posted anything yet. I'm about to go out of town and don't want to keep anyone waiting for the item. Can you explain how I could post them ahead of time and then sell them a week later?? Also is there a reason people start following me before I post anything? Still looking for all of the help I can get. Also how would that work if you were to help me post with your address. Didn't mean to write a book. Hope you have time to answer. Have a good day. D.
Nov 04Reply
lynste70
lynste70 @deitramichelle Ok first...people follow you because they want you to either check out their closets or are in anticipation of you posting your items. Most likely they want you to follow them too. The way this site works is more like a community. The more you follow and are followed the more you will sell.

lynste70 @deitramichelle If you want to post things early and then sell them when you get back: first get the item posted... once it is posted you can hit the edit button on the top left of your post...this will bring up all the information on your listing...scroll to the bottom and there is spot that says "Availability" tap on that spot ...( see next post)
Nov 04Reply
lynste70
lynste70 @deitramichelle .......and a window will pop up to pick "for sale" or "not for sale" hit "not for sale" then hit next! Now no one can buy that item! When you come back and ready just edit again and mark "for sale"

deitramichelle Hi. Have a question. Hi. I'm having trouble with my card. Unable to change or add new info. Trying to talk to girls I bought from to tell them not to sale to other. But system won't let me remove other card to put in another. Since my mailing address was different than regular one.

deitramichelle How can I go from order info directly to seller
Nov 06Reply
lynste70
lynste70 @deitramichelle You can just add another card without deleting the card you have already in there.
