This is the new silicone make up blender. Comes with 1. Great if you like a smooth airbrush finish foundation/clean applicator. Easy to clean and saves so much product as it does not soak in. Do not remove outer plastic, it keeps silicone in place and keeps germs at bay. These last as long as the outer plastic is in tact. No returns, too much of a hassle. Thanks.

iluvbecs @starrynight567 hi all silisponges/silicone sponges have a super flexible and smooth plastic around it. It is part of the design so your makeup doesn't soak up into it. I have one of my own and bend it around a lot and it doesn't not snap or tear. Tweezers and things like that can snap it. So just keep separate 😊

iluvbecs @sandrapanczyk the outer shell makes this non toxic, the inside is made of silicone, "derived from a natural product called silica (basic sand), but it undergoes an extensive chemical process before being added to our beauty products..." so if it is punctured and you come into contact with the silicone it is suggested to use a new one because some people and animals may have an allergic reaction because it is not an organic substance.
