BVLGARI Baby Goat Skin Drawstring Sacchetto

This is the softest piece of leather I've ever held! Since 1884, The BVLGARI family has reigned premier in Rome as the finest jeweler in all of Europe. As the last of The BVLGARI dynasty dwindled, they made the choice to sell the company in 2011 to LVMH (Louis Vuitton, Moet, Hennessey) for $6.01 billion. However, they still hold 50.43% stake in the company for the family. I was lucky enough to be visited by one of the last Bvlgari's who gave me this sacchetto. He was a bit difficult to understand do to his age and the language barrier but the representative Angie explained how they used the finest young goats to make very few of these for friends when they visited the US. Upon first glance, it doesn't look like much. But when you gently pull the drawstrings, it folds up ingeniously. It is a simply smart design. It is done in a beautiful dark Aubergine that it practically black. It is stamped made it Italy. Most Importantly is the hand pressed original BVLGARI logo . It is 7" x 7" which is a great size for pocket or purse. You can use it to hold your jewelry while you get a manicure, or keep your keys in it so they don't scratch your handbag.
