Signatures in steel tip include Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Lefty Gomez, Eddie Bennett, Gene Robertson, Joe Sewell, Eddie Bennett, Tony Lazzeri, Art Fletcher, and more. The signature of Eddie Bennett is especially notable, as he was the Yankees' beloved batboy and mascot during the late 1920s and early 1930s. He died penniless in his room at a lodging house at the age of 31 due to complications from being hit by a taxi cab in 1932. His signature is incredibly rare and sought-after by Yankees Although it has not been authenticated we can send it off to be authenticated at the time of sale that buyer pays.
