Babette Coated Linen Jacket size XS

Incredible lightweight jacket by Babette is the epitome of cool with its coated, metallic sheen linen! I would call it a classic yet contemporary cropped trench silhouette featuring a traditional collar, big single snap button closure, deep front pockets, sophisticated curved front hem, side slits, and classic back pleat. When closed PTP is 20” and length is approximately 21.” Color is hard describe but it is a neutral that goes with everything! This jacket is is excellent condition with no stains found. I don’t usually call things rare, but I haven’t seen a jacket like this in a long time, particularly in this coveted size! Babette was an incredible clothing designer based in San Francisco, CA. Working alongside her husband, her clothing was designed and produced in Oakland, CA until she retired and closed the business in 2016. I was working in retail during the height of her career. She was pretty much the pioneer of fabulous textured travel fabric. This is a vintage design no longer produced and who knows how many of these amazing jackets are out there…This is your chance to own a piece of fashion history!
