Eaxh time I craft a pendant like this, I begin with a story in my mind! Then, I craft each pendant from the bottom up. For "Love Note", I began by using a tiny piece of distressed parchment paper and then hand wrote a short love note, included heart confetti, real flowers, and even a crescent moon; maybe it reminded her of the night of their first date. I ended with a Swarovski crystal charm, imagining a woman long ago saving the diamond he gave her saying "wait for me," as he went off to war. For "World Traveler" I was just simply enchanted by the tiny globes. I wondered what it is like to travel the world in search of gold and other gems. I thought of old time gold miners and the people who built towns and cities. Maybe you have a special traveler in your life? I included a piece of fools gold for luck and protection while traveling. For "Butterfly-away" I imagined a father or mother and a little girl building a piece to remember her by because one of them must travel for work. I imagined it as a sweet present from her for mother's day or Father's day. A small reminder with butterflies to remind us to let our imaginations "butterflyaway" to sweet places and sweet people.
