I wore these once for an evening gala and they were very comfortable for their style and heel (the sole has cushioning). They are absolutely fabulous with not only a full length gown, but ankle baring or midi dress - the ankle crystals shine and make your outfit look like a million bucks. There is wear to the soles. I think the official color was diamond, but they lend to a platinum warm silver (even a little metallic champagne...) - very versatile and could go with really any color.
