Baldwin Canvas waxed, two-layer lightweight jacket. Excellent for layering, yard work, and city walks in the fall and early winter. Designed in Kansas City, lots of life left in it. Repaired rivet buttons and slight, minor tear in top layer as seen in last picture. Looks very rugged and better fit imho than any carhartt I own.

@mattgachi yessir, pit to pit is 21.5”, pit to bottom seam in 16.5” it fits a lot like my medium filson tin cruiser if that helps any.

Thanks for the measurements. Although 21.5” for Large is tight. I usually wear 22.5”. But I will check my other slimmer jackets to get a feel for 21.5” and see it will work for me.
Couple of questions:
I dont see anywhere on the tags any mention of waxed fabric. How do you know its waxed. Some brands call it waxed cotton but in fact it’s DWR (Durable Water Repellent) which is like a teflon spray.
You description says Green but pics look more like khaki brown. What is the true color?

@mattgachi definitely not green, thanks for catching that, very dark tan in color. I would say I am personally between M and L sizes, leaning towards L these days. I like a trim fit and this is definitely a trim fit and fits me well. Baldwin jackets I always go L (have 3 others) and they tend to run almost smaller on the sizing but not a full size smaller.

@mattgachi in terms of the waxing, It feels like a true waxed jacket, but thinner cotton material than other waxed jackets I have. It does have two layers of waxing, could probably take another wax refresh though it is in the material already.

Sorry this is too small. Luckily I found the same jacket in XL on another shopping site.
Btw, this jacket is coated cotton not waxed as I found out later.

@mattgachi glad you got the right size, whatever the waxing or coating it feels very inundated in the cotton, maybe just is the thinner fabric in 2 layers makes me question the typical thick fabric of waxing.
