Banana Republic Tailored Fit Dress Shirt, Size 8

1st RePosh. I added very needed pics & BR Size Chart, ++++. It’s a beautiful, well made, tailored shirt, but I never should’ve purchased a Sz 8, when I wear a 12- according to my bust Sz & BR’s Size Chart! When I tried it on, it fit in the sense it’s a “fitted” shirt. I could wear it like that. I decided to run it through the wash (1st time) as per washing & drying instructions to see if it would still “fit.” It is made of 98% Cotton & 2% Spandex. It did shrink a bit, not much at all, but enough for me not to be able to wear it- just a little TOO “fitted!” My mistake. I should have done my research on BR’s Size Chart-Shirts. Then I wouldn’t have put myself in this predicament. 🧐 So, I’m taking out the guesswork for you. I couldn’t get a screenshot, but here are the measurements for their shirts for Sz 8-12. On their chart, 8-10 is a M, while 12-14 is L. I will buy a 12 (L) on BR now, which will be ~loose. In inches: Size- 8 (Medium) ‼️This Shirt‼️ Bust- 36.5 Natural Waist- 30 Hip- 39.5 Sleeve- Length: 32 Size- 10 (Medium) Bust- 37.5 Natural Waist- 31 Hip- 40.5 Sleeve- Length- 32 Size- 12 (Large) Bust- 39 Natural Waist- 32.5 Hip- 42 Sleeve- Length- 32.5 Size- 14 (Large) Bust- 41 Natural Waist- 34 Hip- 43.5 Sleeve- Length- 32.5 I don’t think it will shrink anymore at all; just be sure to follow washing instructions- Cold water wash-remove promptly-to avoid wrinkling & very low heat in dryer & remove promptly, again to avoid the awful task of ironing. Do not Dry Clean.
