Barbie Golden Qi-Pao Limited Edition 1998

This Barbie is an absolute beauty and is coming from my personal collection. She is simply stunning in her traditional Chinese dress in gold with intricate golden roses sewn onto a lace applique sheath. She is wearing some of my favorite Barbie jewelry pieces. Beautiful jade like and crystal drop earrings, a jade and gold bracelet and a jade with jewels butterfly broach. She was designed to commemorate the first anniversary of the British return of Hong Kong to the Chinese. She is also the very first Barbie to be designed by an Asian designer.
