Bazic Addition Subtraction Math Flash Cards Homeschooling Teaching Aids Learning To The Parent: Math Flash Cards are designed to teach children the basic number facts simply and successfully. Children can learn by themselves, with their parents, with a friend, or in a classroom. To study these cards with a child, show the child each card, starting with the red subtraction problems. The correct answer is at the top of the reverse side. If the child has difficulty mastering these problems, illustrate them with objects. Give the child some marbles or buttons. Ask him/her to make a set of 7 members. Now tell him/her to take away 2 members from the group of 7. Now ask him/her how many members are left. When all the red subtraction problems have been mastered, do the blue subtraction problems on the reverse side. A Game for 2 or more players: Show a problem to the first player. If the problem is answered correctly, the player keeps the card. If it is answered incorrectly, the card goes to the bottom of the deck.
