hexeandcandy I just started doing this too! After I sent out jeans new with tags, in perfect condition. And the zipper magically got broken... The tags were all removed & they had been worn. I’m always amazed at how dishonest people are.

theopulentgoth @hexeandcandy yeah I’m not sure about others but I pay for my things I pay retail and I won’t let anyone steal from me like that often some people are total Scammers they buy stuff knowing they plan to do something scetchy like say something was recieved differently or broken or not the same item I’m not playing little games with some of these women. I do this for peace of mind. It protects both parties.

lovebags22 I’m going to start doing this as well! I just got scammed by someone who deliberately cut handles on a purse I shipped out. She was a new Posher, should have known by that. I like your message and will copy. Buyers HAVE to protect themselves, the scammers are hitting every angle to scam.

It seems that people are very desperate on here to find any reason to complain and scam anyway they can all the way from poshers giving sob stories so you will fill up thier box with your nice things(saying they r less fortunate their kids won’t have xmas) “IE” just so they can relist all the gifts you give them and sell them! to someone screwing me over by sending me a box of fake jewlery and expired Avon items

theopulentgoth @lovebags22 it is absolutely disgraceful what people try to do... my friend sold her Chanel bag on here for 2700 dollars the girl switched out the bags she had a replica messaged posh saying my friends bag was fake so she was able to find the receipt and proof she purchased at Chanel and posh paid her but it’s sad that people have these scams well thought out like that. So unfortunately I have to record everything and ppl are warned not to buy here if they have ill intent.

theopulentgoth @lovebags22 had my friend not been able to prove her bag was authentic posh would not have payed her and would have told the customer to throw away the replica or send it to headquarters so they could destroy it. It’s crazy out here. I’ve become way pickier about who I trade with and who I sell to I always check purchases they made before and try to do my homework. I’m tired of trashy people taking advantage of my kindness.

lovebags22 @theopulentgoth Wow! It’s crazy!! I just never thought I’d be a victim, but not anymore!!! I’m going to create a post later and attach the recording photo to deter the low life’s! Also- I’ve seen cases where posh sides with buyer even though the seller video taped!! So Poshmark is not gaining good reputation by allowing criminal activity 😑😑
