Can you measure how long across the opening? I want to know if my phone will fit inside of it

Hi @nicolestins I tried putting my iPhone 6+ in but the opening is a metal frame and is 5" wide.. It wouldn't have fit through. The bottom is big enough, 7.5" wide but unfortunately you can't squeeze it past the metal frame.
