Beautiful 1950's vintage red wiggle dress with gold embroidery.

What a beauty! This dress would be perfect for a black tie event or wedding. 1950's Red wiggle dress with Gold embroidery. This dress was purchased by my mom in 1958, in London, on her way to Africa. She bought this lovely cotton dress for special occasions and it's still in beautiful condition. The red lining is in excellent condition. The matching belt is not in great shape but is included with purchase. Possibly it could be restored but dress does not need belt to be worn and enjoyed. {LABEL•FABRIC} Werff of Bond Street No fabric content label but mom told me it is cotton. Has gold embroidery and red (acetate?) lining. Should be dry cleaned. Dress is marked 14 but please check the measurements. More like an US 8 {MEASUREMENTS - laid flat} Bust: Front-armpit to armpit 20” Back-armpit to armpit 16.5” Waist 13.25” Hips 18.75” Length 41” from shoulder strap to hem {CONDITION} Very good for a 60+ year old dress - embroidery and lining are in very good condition. Some slight snags to embroidery but no bald spots or holes. -fabric has some dark spots near left hip (see photo). I would describe these as water stains and are not very noticeable. Did not come out with dry cleaning. -matching belt is NOT in great shape. Leather is cracked and worn with age and has separated from the fabric and the covered buckle shows wear Make me an offer or bundle with my other items
