Beautiful Antique Cameo Brooch/Necklace Combo

This antique, Victorian style cameo was gifted to a young girl on her wedding day in 1915. Part of a jewelry set, it was later separated and given to family members. This particulair piece disappeared and was thought to be lost forever until the death of the grandson of the original owner, when it was found in a safety deposit box. This cameo can be worn as a brooch or a necklace. It is handcarved out of customary shell and surrounded by a gold colored braid. The actual gold content is unknown.
