This is a fake from a Czechoslovakian company called Teichert. Real Meissen is German and uses crossed swords. There is a huge difference in quality and worth.

@victorianblue I research this cup and this is what i found . ….A mark with 'Meissen" inscription in a circle and a five-pointed star below. This mark was used from December 1882 to December 1929. … I appreciate you input ….

The mark was used in that time period, but not by Meissen. A Meissen collector would not buy Teichert. And you could be required to give a refund if someone buys this believing that it is real Meissen.
