Beautiful Belle Epoque French Gilt Brass Small Oval Photo Frame RARE!!

Beautifully detailed Belle Epoque French gilt brass oval photo frame with a beaded edge. It is from the late 1800s to the early 1900s before WWI. The gold finish was applied over brass to get this very gold color. This frame's attractive style is simple yet elegant and works well with classical French Louis XV and Louis XVI pieces, as well as Empire, Baroque, Renaissance and Georgian accessories. The frame has its glass front and the back pulls away from the front frame to allow a photo to be inserted. This frame measures 5.5" long and 4.5" wide. It would look lovely on your nightstand or on your vanity table. Original gilt over brass finish is in good condition with light patination to the finish.
