Beautiful Vintage 1950s Adele Simpson Embellished New Look Dress

This dress is gorgeous! Dress features: Prong set rhinestones in starburst shapes throughout, some individual rhinestones scattered about Bodice and top of skirt are lined Somewhat off-the-shoulder sleeves, due to the very wide V neckline in front and back Long center back metal zipper, hook/eye above Inverted kick pleat at center back hem Bust darts, gathers Underbust seam Princess seaming that creates folds in the fabric in front to make room for hips Center seams in front and back Quality fabric and construction The dress looks absolutely fantastic, but it is in as-is condition. There are a few little tiny holes, (possibly where rhinestones were, or from rubbing against them). There are some prongs, or bases of rhinestones that don’t have rhinestones. Some rhinestones are darker than others. Some slight discolorations to the fabric. None of these issues are obvious with the print of the fabric and the rhinestones, you have to be looking for them. The dress looks great on! Not quite perfect and priced to reflect that. Measurements are taken with garment laying flat, doubled as appropriate. Measurements are of garment itself, and fabric is NOT stretchy! Bust measured just below the armholes at widest part: 41” Underbust seam: 32.5” Waist: 28” Hips: 37” Overall length from inside top of shoulder to hem: 47” Bodice length from inside top of shoulder to approximate waist: 16” (there isn’t a waist seam) Skirt length from waist to hem: approximately 31”
