Beautiful Vintage 1980s 1990s David Hayes Floral Dress Front Zipper & Scarf

This gorgeous dress came from the estate of Jeraldine Saunders, the creator of “The Love Boat”! The fabric is really beautiful, it is an orangey gold, kind of mustardy. There are shades of brown, orange, purplish gray and light sea foam green. Features: Long sleeves Fully lined Zipper front (not all the way, see photo) Floral fabric Matching unlined scarf/shawl (single sided) Princess seaming in front and back for an exceptional fit Built-in shoulder pads (not huge) Skirt length is below the knee (at least on me!) Tags say: David Hayes, size 10 (it is vintage and possibly altered, so please see measurements to ensure proper fit!). Dry clean only. Made in USA. Paper tag says it is size 10 and style 126. There is also a tag that says “The variations in this fabric are part of its inherent beauty”. There isn’t a fabric content label, I think the outside is wool or wool blend. The lining is probably synthetic. Dress and scarf are in excellent vintage condition showing little evidence of wear. The sides appear to have been let out a little bit at least in the lining. Measurements are taken with the garments lying flat and doubled as appropriate. Measurements are of the garments themselves, so please be sure to leave room for your body and movement as fabric is NOT stretchy!
