Beautiful Vintage Goldtone red rhinestones signed CORO screw back earrings.

Beautiful find and they are in good vintage condition. They need cleaned. There is no tarnish but a cleaning they could use. I do not do that. Vintage earrings signed Coro are screw back floral filigree style earrings. They are adorned with beautiful deep red rhinestones that are claw / prong set in a lovely bright yellow gold ton. The earrings are each about half an inch in diameter. Each piece is signed Coro in script on the reverse side. These are very 1940s in style, and I had expected these to be marked 'sterling' but they are not in this case. During WWII, Coro used sterling silver rather than the usual base metals that were required for building the tools of warfare. The pieces are in good vintage condition - please examine photos carefully for any minor signs of aging. Reference: Box 8
