johntanttari @jmaeday it is 22 inches end to end when opened and yes maam it does come off the chain very easily it's got a kinda hidden flip clasp on the chain itself that releases the piece from it. it's really beautiful thank you for stopping by my closet and happy poshing 😁

johntanttari @jmaeday it would look great on a nice silver chain and the place thats on the pendant that connects is a pretty simple little ring. honestly if I had the option I'd see if he would clean the metal off and dip it in silver so he wouldn't have to try to deal w replacing it and hang it on a nice silver chain it's be beautiful

johntanttari sorry,my mom used to take me w her to her jeweler and I always loved it he'd would sit me down and show me the wax models and explained how and why some things where how they are. I personally have custom jewlery, I love your idea😍.
