Beautiful hand-painted, footed, vintage, egg shaped vase with Sola flowers

Stunning!! Beautiful porcelain cracked egg shaped vase is hand painted with flowers and gold trim and filled with Sola wood flowers. The flowers have been airbrushed to color coordinate with flowers painted on the vase. This is not just for Easter, as it was a popular style for vase/trinket bowls in the early 20th century. There is no stamp but the style and painting date it to early 20th century. The vase is 4" high and 2 1/2" inches wide. With flowers the piece is 6 1/4" high x 7" wide. The flower arrangement is in floral foam wrapped in fabric and can moved to another vase/planter if you choose to use this antique for something else. Many of our items are now cross-posted to other platforms so if you see it, don't wait, because once it's gone, it's gone! *Sola wood comes from a tapioca plant root called Cassava (a.k.a. manioc, arrowroot, yucca). This woody shrub can be dried down to a powder to create tapioca. Since Cassava is native to tropical climates, it is extremely drought resistant. Sola wood flowers are sustainable and naturally recyclable, the dyes are natural, the white and skin flowers are actual soft wood. Some of these natural wood flowers often have small rips or tears - please view photos - these bouquets look beautiful and any natural tears are not obvious. _____________
