Beautifully detailed hand cut & stitched vintage turtle motif mola art by Guna

This is a vintage stunning original cloth of mola art. Sea turtle motif beautifully cut out and stitched. The Mola consists of Sculpture through motif. It has several layers of cloth, that are stitched together, where designs have been carefully cutout to expose underlying colors. Guna women of Panama made these as part of their dress. Guna means “shirt”. For the wall or hand bag or clothing Upcycle like on a jacket. This pc is excellent and has never been used but has been carefully stored many years with other wonderful handwork from around the world!!!
